REACHING OUT TO VULNERABLE SENIORS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Message from Beaver leader Bubbles (Heather):

I am forwarding some pictures from our shoebox distribution at John Gibson House. The boxes were so well received! The seniors especially loved Emerson and Noah’s carols and piano songs. Take a look at these photos with your child and show them all the good they have done. They may see some of the gifts they wrapped and sent! I hope to do this again next year and maybe we can organize a night for a group of us to take the gifts. THANK-YOU to Justine (Kellan’s Mom) for donating the wrapping/decorations, to Tara (Jack’s Mom) for the boxes of shampoo, Kristen (Emerson’s Mom) for taking the Cubs’ delivery of boxes and to all for your generosity!

Scouts Marlies Game – December 10th

Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, their families and friends are all invited to a Toronto Marlies Game on Saturday Dec 10th, 3:00pm, at the Ricoh Coliseum.

~ PLAY GAMES AT ‘MARLIE’S ALLEY’ BEFORE THE GAME
~ ENJOY THE 3:00 PM GAME IN A $ 30 SEAT
~ DINNER IS INCLUDED (Pizza Pizza slice, bag of chips, drink)
~ SKATE ON THE ICE AFTER THE GAME
~ DOOR PRIZES & MORE!

If you are interested in ordering tickets just let us know how many your family would like to order. The cost of the tickets are $25 each.

The deadline for ordering tickets is November 30th! Payment can be made at next Mondays meeting (Nov. 28th) either by cash or cheque (payable to “75th Old Mill”).
